Induction-Hardened Chrome-Plated Bars

  • Induction hardening is used to improve and upgrade the mechanical properties of steel materials with certain areas to be hardened, and to maximize resistance.
  • Chrome-plated bars, which are particularly common in Hydraulic-Pneumatic cylinder applications, are composed of extra-hardened and normalized steel with high impact resistance, induction-hardened flawless surface and optimal corrosion resistance. Above a diameter of 140 mm, the depth increases up to 3.5 mm at a diameter of 200 mm.
